The Estate of The Harrisons The Harrison Studio consists of Newton Harrison (1932–2022) and Helen Mayer Harrison (1927–2018), a husband-and-wife team recognized as leading pioneers of the Ecological Art movement. Throughout their nearly five-decade career, they collaborated with biologists, ecologists, historians, activists, architects, urban planners, and artists to explore biodiversity and community development across multiple disciplines. Their work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale (1976, 1980, 2019), documenta 8, MoMA, the Whitney Museum, and the Tate, among others. Their works are held in collections at the Whitney Museum, Centre Pompidou, MoMA, LACMA, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
